Our decision to reopen our gallery to exclusively represent George Gallo was an easy one. Why? In my opinion, Gallo is destined to be recognized as one of the greatest artists of the late 20th and early 21st centuries.
Known as a gallery that specializes in large, original paintings, we recognize that our visitors and clients are overwhelmingly drawn to Gallo's exquisite work and appreciate the personal and private concierge service we offer. It became obvious that an exclusive relationship with Gallo would best serve our clients and align with our mission to provide exceptional service that is commensurate with the art being purchased.
Most of our clients are looking for impressionistic landscapes or a landscape with a narrative theme. Many know the size and color scheme they are looking for before they ever visit. Gallo can also be commissioned to paint to your exact specifications. Inspiration for the subject matter and color palette can be drawn from his extensive collection, resulting in an original work of art that will fit perfectly in your space.
Gallo’s work can be found in prominent collections around the world including the private collection of Morgan Freeman, Robert De Niro, Gary Sinise, Meg Ryan, Mel Gibson, Armin Mueller-Stahl, Brendan Fraser, musician Bruce Hornsby, and producer Marshall Herskovitz. Gallo is in several public collections including The Butler Institute of American Art in Youngstown, Ohio, and the R.W. Norton Museum in Shreveport, Louisiana.
Gallo has also won several awards including the top one hundred Arts for the Parks award in 1991. He’s had several one man shows including two at Grand Central Art Galleries in New York City, The Salmagundi Club of New York City where he is a Meritus Member, and a retrospective at the Butler Institute of American Art where the museum featured 75 of his works. He’s also participated in several group shows exhibited at The Salmagundi Club of New York City and the California Art Club where he is an Artist Member. He has been the subject of several books including two solo books, “The Art of George Gallo; A Contemporary American Impressionist,” and “Impressionist Painting for the Landscape” which he co-authored with Cindy Salaski.
I invite you to explore the Gallo gallery here or in our Doylestown, PA gallery so we can collaborate and discover the perfect painting for you. Our concierge service offers individualized attention with exceptional personal care from the discovery phone call through delivery. Guaranteed.
