George Gallo is one of the most accomplished and prolific American Impressionists of our time. He paints in the New Hope Impressionist style and is renowned for his large-scale, quintessential Bucks County landscapes. Since making his home across the country in California, George has written and directed countless Hollywood films yet his love for painting endures. He continues to capture the beauty of both the East and West Coasts with his magnificent landscapes and narrative paintings.
"I don't paint because I want to. I paint because I have to. I've concluded that it is a spiritual experience, sometimes less about the painting than a need to express thanks for being on earth. I have a deep need to share this joy and celebrate the beauty I see all around us."

"I've developed a deep reverence of nature and some sort of connection to God, something so deep and spiritual. Painting itself became secondary, a byproduct of communing with nature."
